St Joseph's Church Mingenew
According to the Location map of Strawberry, dated 1877, the Catholic Church Block No was 92A. The first Catholic church was made of timber and iron. This church was later shifted into Mingenew in 1912. Prior to the Church being erected in Mingenew Mass was said in the old Hall once a month.
At present we have mass celebrated here in Mingenew on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the Month at 5.00pm. The Parish Priest is Father Robert O'Bryan who resides in Mullewa and travels out Sunday afternoons on the planned mass days. When possible we have a celebration of the Liturgy of the Word and Holy Communion on the 4th Sunday of the month as Father Robert travels to Laverton, Leonora and Leinster on the Weekend.
Father Robert O'Bryan can be contacted on 99611181 or Email email@example.com.
